General Cooperation Agreement signed between Seychelles and St. Vincent
The Principal Secretary for the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Michelle Murray signed a General Cooperation Agreement with H.E. Mr Cenio Lewis, High Commissioner of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines today at Maison Queue de Quinssy.
This agreement will bring greater diplomatic engagement and allow for the two countries to share their diverse experience across an array of fields for the benefit of the nations two peoples. In particular both Ambassador Murray and High Commissioner Lewis agreed on the need to coordinate efforts and find innovative solutions to tackle a changing climate and address the vulnerabilities of small island states in development.
For her part the Principal Secretary for the Department of Foreign Affairs also noted that like Seychelles, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has a large maritime space with untapped potential which can be used to further develop the countries.
